HealthSmart MSO offers a web-based portal for contracted primary care physicians.  Submitting claims/encounters and authorization requests online provide a high tech solution to eliminating the paper associated with these traditional processes.  PCPs are also able check the status of their claims and authorizations and verify eligibility.
